However, outsiders don't know of the secret they share. Both Mugi and Hanabi have hopeless crushes on someone else, and they are only dating each other to soothe their loneliness. Mugi is in love with Minagawa Akane, a young teacher who used to be his home tutor. Hanabi is also in love with a teacher, a young man who has been a family friend since she was little. In each other, they find a place where they can grieve for the ones they cannot have, and they share a loneliness-driven physical intimacy. Will things stay like this for them forever?

PPOV (Personal Point Of View): euh... well how should I describe this experience... let's say it was instructive. I'll try my best not to spoil to much, but it will be fucking difficult.

I saw the scum's wish in his anime version, so be aware that I may be missing some info on some events. Anyway let's begin:

To tell you the truth, I didn't the meaning of scum before watching this anime and trust me I did some research before starting it, but it was no use I couldn't find a meaning, so I watched it anyway and I directly understood what the fuck it was about (or at least I tried).

Right at the beginning, you have to master that Hana AKA Hanabi is in love with her brother (not blood related) and Mugi is love with his old home teacher (I forgot the name), if you don't pay attention you will never know that this anime is facing an aspect that we all know, LONELINESS. A lot of us are scared to end alone in our house with 36 cats and 11 dogs (it depends on your preferences), being single and not be able to share a smile or happiness with our significant other.

As every youth nowadays, Hanabi is facing that state in her life and she's also confuse about her real intentions in life and start to understand therm when she meets Mugi and especially her music teacher Akane (yep, I searched for it), Akane senpai is a nymphomaniac who like the attention of men and like when girls are jealous of her, she wasn't one of my favorite at the beginning but after some few episode I started liking her, because we knew a little more about her past and we were also discouvering at the same time as her, what was lacking in her life so that she could be happy.

We also follow my other favorite Sanae AKA Ecchan who really broke my heart into pieces during the whole anime, her devotion to Hana, her compassion to the feeling of Hana, her acceptance of Hana's phases and obviously her distress and pain of those one sided feelings that she had for Hana.

Yeah I know, it may seem like all the anime is all around Hana, but not really because we follow the story of 5 other people who are in a period were they have to face another portion , for there's not just one main character but 6 of them. The only one that i can consider sub-main characters are Noriko AKA Moka and Narumi senpai, because there're not really put forward in the story as Ecchan or Akane senpai.

Truly saying I have a lot to say about the characters than the story itself, because they show a lot of aspect that are touching and hilarious at the same time, like Sanae's cousin, Atsuya who is in love with her and who never give up on Ecchan eventhough she wasn't attracted to her, but she kind of take his offer into consideration when she gave up on Hana. Same for Narumi senpai, Hana's brother, who showed us all by accepting Akane senpai's flaws (nymphomaniac) that “we can't say we love someone if we are not ready to take his/her bad side with us, that's called unconditionnal love.” my heart just melt when that part came along and that was just beautiful. Listen, I don't mean you should still love or pardon or accept your partner even if she/he cheat on you, that's completely wrong and in no right I will accept that, but if the person told from the beginning that he/she is a cheater, then that's great! You know what is waiting for you and you will know how to deal with it.

Anyway, this is starting to get long and I don''t want to write a story about it, I have again a lot of things to say, but that will stay secret cause they are spoilers, so enjoy the show and don't forget to watch the video below and if you are interested check it out on MangaTown and OtakuStream (link down below). So, this is all for today, hope you enjoyed this short moment together and I'll see for another discovery.
